Managed IT support

The IT department your business doesn’t have to hire.

We look after the computers, networks, email and security that small and medium businesses run on — so your people can get on with the job, and you can stop being the one who fixes the printer.

Plain English, always Your licences stay yours One number to ring

What we do

Everything a business needs from IT, under one roof.

Most small firms end up with a different supplier for each problem — one for the broadband, one for the phones, someone’s nephew for the laptops. We do the lot, so when something goes wrong there is one number to ring.

Managed IT support

Day-to-day help for your staff, plus the quiet background work that stops problems happening at all.

  • Unlimited helpdesk by phone and email
  • Remote fixes, on site when it needs hands
  • Proactive monitoring and patching
  • Response targets: SLA — TBC

Microsoft 365 & cloud

Email, files and collaboration that work from the office, from home and from a phone on a train.

  • Migration from old email or servers
  • Exchange, SharePoint, OneDrive, Teams
  • Licence reviews — usually a saving
  • Azure and hosted server work

Cyber security

The realistic threats to a business your size are phishing, weak passwords and an unpatched machine.

  • Endpoint protection on every device
  • Multi-factor and conditional access
  • Phishing simulation and staff training
  • Help getting Cyber Essentials certified

Backup & recovery

A backup nobody has ever restored from is not a backup. We take copies you can actually come back from.

  • Automated backup of servers and PCs
  • Microsoft 365 backup — Microsoft don’t
  • Off-site and immutable copies
  • Restores tested, not assumed

Networks & Wi-Fi

Slow internet costs more in wasted hours than a faster line ever does. We sort the whole building.

  • Business broadband and leased lines
  • Firewalls, switching and cabling
  • Wi-Fi that reaches the far corner
  • Secure remote access and VPN

Business phone systems

Cloud telephony that follows your people wherever they work, keeping the number customers know.

  • Hosted VoIP and Teams Phone
  • Number porting — you keep your number
  • Call routing, hunt groups, voicemail-to-email
  • Handsets, headsets and softphones

Hardware & buying

We spec and supply the kit, build it before it reaches the desk, and track what you own.

  • Laptops, desktops, servers and screens
  • Built and joined before delivery
  • Asset register and warranty tracking
  • Secure disposal with data destruction

Projects & compliance

The bigger pieces — a move, a rollout, an audit you have to pass — planned with dates and a cost.

  • Office moves and new-site fit-outs
  • Windows 11 and server upgrades
  • GDPR and data-protection practicalities
  • A three-year IT plan and budget

Our approach

Good IT is boring.

No drama, no downtime, no surprise invoices. The highest compliment our clients pay us is forgetting we are there at all — because everything simply worked, all month, and the invoice was the number we said it would be.

No jargon No lock-in No learning on your time No surprise invoices

How we work

Look, plan, fix, look after.

You will know what we found, what it costs and what happens next — in writing, before anybody touches anything.

01

We look

A free review of what you have: the machines, the licences, the backups, the things held together with tape. No obligation, no sales pitch.

02

We plan

A short written report in plain English: what is urgent, what can wait, what it costs. You decide how much of it you want doing.

03

We fix

We put the urgent things right and get everything onto a footing we can support — working around your hours, not ours.

04

We look after

Ongoing support for one monthly fee, with a proper review every frequency — TBC so IT stays a plan, not a pile of emergencies.

Who we help

Too big to wing it, too small for their own IT team.

Somewhere around headcount — TBC people, IT stops being something the most technical person in the office can absorb on top of their real job. Downtime starts costing real money, insurers and clients start asking questions, and nobody is quite sure who has the passwords.

That is the point we are built for — the coverage a large company gets from an in-house team, for a fraction of one salary.

Why us

What we will and won’t do.

Plain English, always

If we cannot explain the problem in a sentence you would repeat to a colleague, we have not understood it well enough yet.

One price, one month at a time

A fixed monthly fee, so a bad month for you is not a big invoice from us. Our terms: pricing — TBC, contract — TBC.

Your accounts stay yours

Domains, Microsoft tenants and licences are registered to you, not to us. If you ever leave, you take everything with you and we help you hand it over.

We answer

A real person, not a ticket that sits overnight. Support hours are hours — TBC, with out-of-hours cover OOH — TBC.

We’ll say no

If something is outside what we do well, we will tell you and point you at someone who does it properly. That is cheaper than us learning on your time.

FAQ

The things people ask us first.

Can’t see yours? Ring or email and we’ll answer it straight, without turning it into a sales call.

What does “managed IT support” actually cover?

Everything routine: your staff can ring or email whenever something is not working, and in the background we keep machines updated, patched, protected and backed up. Bigger pieces of work are quoted separately so you are never surprised by an invoice.

We’re only a handful of people. Are we too small?

No. Small teams often get the worst of it, because there is nobody whose job it is to notice the backup stopped running in March. Support is priced per person, so a small business pays a small amount.

What does it cost?

A fixed fee per person per month, depending on how many machines you have and how much cover you want. Current rates: pricing — TBC. The initial review is free and you get the written plan whether or not you go ahead.

Do we have to move everything to the cloud?

No. Some things genuinely belong on a server in your building — large design files, machinery talking to a local database, sites with poor broadband. We tell you which systems benefit from moving and which do not.

What if something breaks at 7pm, or on a Saturday?

Standard support hours are hours — TBC and out-of-hours cover is OOH — TBC. For anything that stops you trading, the escalation route is agreed when you come on board, so nobody is guessing at 7pm.

Can you work alongside the IT person we already have?

Yes, and it is a common arrangement. We take the routine load, the monitoring and the out-of-hours worry; your internal person gets to work on things specific to your business instead of resetting passwords.

What is the switch actually like?

We take over without a break in cover: document what you have, take custody of accounts and licences, put our monitoring and backup in place, then tell you when it is safe to give notice. Typical changeover: onboarding — TBC.
